Bacolod-Silay Airport will soon offer a direct flight to Hongkong courtesy of Cebu Pacific.
This was revealed by the office of the Mayor-elect Monico Puentevella after the latter met with Cebu Pacific’s Lance Gokongwei.
Both Puentevella and Gokongwei have agreed to a decision that there will be two direct flights weekly from Bacolod to Hong Kong starting next year adding that this is just the beginning of a long and steady partnership.
“Hong Kong is just a start. Soon, we will have direct flights to Macau, Singapore and Korea. Tourism in the city will flourish, businesses will grow and we’re merely just scratching the surface,” said Puentevella.
